AmCham has no direct involvement in issuing US Visas.
If you will be travelling for business, please consult the Business Executive Program. As well, provided below is information that will help explain the process of obtaining a US Visa and the available resources that can provide answers to any questions you may have.
There are two main types of visa requests:
- Non-immigrant Visas (NIVs)
- These Visas are for any traveler who will not be residing permanently in the United States. Examples are for business trips, students, and vacations.
- Immigrant Visas (IVs)
- These Visas are reserved for people seeking permanent relocation to the United States

Expedited Visa Appointments
If you have urgent business activity that requires you to come to the U.S. on short notice, you can apply for an expedited visa appointment. Such requests require proof of urgency, and may carry additional requirements . You can apply for an expited appointment by sending an email explaining your situation to: CasablancaBusiness@state.gov
